Cape Moon is a solo for Trombone and Piano from the collection Scenes from the Cape.  This collection is dedicated to my brother, Jerry Nelson, who was a musician and puppeteer with the Muppets.

Description:  “Cape Moon” was inspired by viewing a full moon over the dunes on the ocean side of Truro, Massachusetts.  This lyrical solo is designed to be an easy introduction to 3/4 time and legato technique.
