Hunt House Days is a solo for Trombone and Piano from the collection Scenes from the Cape.  This collection is dedicated to my brother, Jerry Nelson, who was a musician and puppeteer with the Muppets.

This MRNS Music Digital Download will include the trombone and piano parts, a SmartMusic accompaniment file, an MP3 of the piano accompaniment, plus a brief description of the solo.

Description: Before moving to Truro, my brother stayed at fellow Muppet performer Richard Hunt’s house on the cape.  A lot of jamming took place there, which led me to write this blues-oriented solo.  In an effort to teach swing style, I start it in 12/8 time then switch to 4/4 swing near the end.  Hunt House days starts off in the key of Bb, and then moves to C at the end.  This solo is catchy and fun!
