The Comet is a concert march that was commissioned by the Delay Middle School Band in Lewisville, Texas. 

The Comet is a gallop, which means it's fast and fun to play!  It features a saxophone soli at the trio with an optional solo part, and the ending combines that trio melody with the opening theme.  This work would be great for a developing varsity band or an advanced non-varsity band.
